RESEPI BUAH MELAKA LABU @ ONDE-ONDE LABU
Bahan-bahan:
* 2 cawan labu (direbus dan dilenyek)
* 3 cawan tepung pulut
* 2 sudu rata tepung gandum
* Sedikit garam
* Air
* 1 ketul gula melaka (dihiris kasar)
* ½ biji kelapa parut
Cara-cara:
1. Gaul labu yang sudah dilenyek bersama tepung pulut, tepung gandum dan sedikit garam dengan air sedikit demi sedikit hingga adunan boleh digentel
2. Kemudian, ambil adunan sebesar ibu jari dan leperkan.
3. Masukkan gula melaka ditengahnya dan tutup semula. Bulat-bulatkan
4. Panaskan air hingga mendidih dan masukkan bebola pulut tadi.
5. Bila kuih timbul boleh diangkat dan toskan dalam tapisan.
6. Akhir sekali, golekkan kuih di atas kelapa parut yang bercampur sedikit garam.
Siap. No coloring added, original dari labu tu sendiri. Sangat sedap berlemak. Selamat mencuba

PUMPKIN MELAKA FRUIT RECIPE @ ONDE-ONDE PUMPKIN
Ingredients:
* 2 cups of pumpkin (boiled and crushed)
* 3 cups of glutinous rice flour
* 2 teaspoon of wheat flour
* A little salt
* Water
* 1 pieces of Melaka sugar (roughly sliced)
* ½ pieces of grated coconut
Ways:
1. Pumpkin mix that has been crushed with glutinous rice flour, wheat flour and a little salt with water little by little until the mix can be flattened
2. Then, take the mix as big as your thumb and flatten it.
3. Insert Melaka sugar in the middle of it and cover it again. Round up
4. Heat up the water until boiling and insert glutinous rice balls just now.
5. When the cakes come up can be lifted and tossed in the filter.
6. Finally, put cakes on grated coconut with some salt.
Ready. No coloring added, original from the pumpkin itself. So good fat. Good luck trying

Onde Onde Pandan siap ! Tips nak bagi bulat: masa bulat2 kan ,tapak tangan letak minyak sikit, pastu tangan jangan basah , nnt adunan melekat2 kat tangan. Senang la nnt nak bentuk kan onde2 ni.
Tepung Pulut 2 Cawan
Tepung Beras Cap Teratai 1 sudu besar
Garam 1/2 sudu kecil
Air Kapur ( ambil atasnya ) 1 sudu kecil
5 Helai Daun Pandan - Dikisar diambil ekstraknya -1 cawan
Gaul semua bahan2 diatas sehingga sebati.
Bulat2 kan , masuk gula melaka ditengah2, kemudian terus masuk dalam periuk yg berisi air mendidih , sehinggalah onde2 tu timbul, tandanya dah masak , toskan masuk dalam mangkuk berisi air & ais - rendam selama 5 minit & toskan .
Golek kan pada Kelapa Parut Putih ( dikukus kejap & diangkat , taburkan garam sikit )
Siap !!
Onde onde pandan is ready! Tips to give round: when it's round, put some oil on the palm, then don't wet your hands, the mix will be on your hand. It's easy to shape this onde2.
Glutinous Rice Flour 2 Cups
Lotus Cap Rice Flour 1 big spoon
Salt 1/2 small spoon
Chalk Water (take it) 1 small spoons
5 PCS PANDAN leaves - ground taken juice-1 Cup
Gaul all the ingredients above until the end.
Round Right, enter the melaka sugar middle then straight into a pot filled with boiling water, until the onde2 comes up, the sign is already cooked, throw it in the bowl filled with water & ice - soak for 5 Minutes & throw it.
Look for the white scar coconut (steamed for a while & lifted, spread some salt)

Ingredients
1 cup glutinuos rice flour
1/4 cup rice flour
10 screwpine leaves
Gula melaka (palm sugar), grated
a pinch of salt
A heaping cup of freshly grated coconut
A pinch of salt
Steps
1) in a blender, grind the screwpine leaves with about 1/2 cup of water. Sieve the liquid and pour in bit by bit to the mixture of glutinous rice flour and rice flour till a dough is formed. (It shouldnt be too icky and shouldnt stick to your hands... add more glutinous rice flour if that happens!)
2) take about a thumbsize of the dough and flatten in your palms. Put a small knob of grated palm sugar in the center and fold from the sides to cover the sugar. Roll in your palms to form a smooth ball. Repeat with the remaining dough.
3) in a pot of boiling water, drop the the glutinous rice balls and wait till they cook through. (You will know when they cook through when they float to the surface of the water)
4) drop the cooked glutinous rice balls into the grated coconut that has been tossed with a pinch of salt. Ready to be gobbled!!!

Sesame Seed Balls (芝麻球) are a Chinese sweet treat.
Instead of deep-frying them I baked in the oven because I know my viewers like a healthier version ;)

BAKED Sesame Seed Balls
Difficulty: Very Easy
Time: 30min
Number of servings: 8 pieces
Ingredients:
100g (3.5oz.) Mochiko (glutinous rice flour) *Shiratamako (lumpy glutinous rice flour) is OK
80ml water
1 tsp. sesame oil
120g (4.2oz.) Koshi-an (sweet Azuki red bean paste without skins)
toasted white sesame seeds
Directions:
1. Place Mochiko (glutinous rice flour) in a bowl. Add water and mix very well until smooth.
2. Add sesame oil and mix well until combined.
3. Divide Koshi-an (sweet Azuki red bean paste without skins) into 8 equal pieces, then roll them into balls.
4. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces, then roll them into balls as well. Flatten out the dough with your fingers, and wrap the Koshi-an securely.
5. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Gently drop the dumplings in the boiling water and cook for 2 minutes. Then remove from the boiling water and transfer into cold water (to cool and remove the slimy texture).
6. Preheat the oven to 250C (482F). Lightly drain the dumplings and coat with toasted white sesame seeds. *You can eat them as-is but sesame seeds stick well if you bake.
7. Bake at 250C (482F) until crisp golden brown (for about 7 minutes). *You can bake in the toaster oven for a few minutes or deep-fry.
Just out from the oven is very good. They stay chewy and soft till the next day. You can keep in the freezer for a week. When you eat, put it out from the fridge for a few minutes until the Mochi gets soft, then bake in the oven if you like.

Ingredients
*For the filling*
1/2 cup peeled split mung beans (100g)washed and soaked in water 1 hour
4 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1/4 cup shredded coconut optional
*For the dough*
2 cups glutinous rice flour 250g
2 tbsp white rice flour
1/4 cup mashed potato (or 2 tbsp potato flakes + 4 tbsp hot water)
4 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
200 ml luke warm water (1/2+1/3cup) **
1/2 cup sesame seeds
vegetable oil to deep fry
**The water amount is estimated only- Pls add slowly and adjust to your flour quality
Tips for deep-frying: When the oil reaches the right temperature (small bubbles appear around the chopstick), please lower the heat and fry on medium. Frying on high heat might cause the balls to crack/explode.
